4-Day Marrakech Experience Itinerary
Casablanca Port to Marrakech
Your 4-day Marrakech experience starts the second you walk off the gangway. Our driver will be waiting at the Casablanca port to whisk you away to the Hassan II Mosque. It’s an immersive experience in Islamic architecture that you shouldn’t miss. After the tour, we hit the highway for the three-hour drive to Marrakech. By late afternoon, you’ll be checking into a hotel in the medina, think hidden courtyards and rooftop views. We’ll finish the day with a group dinner in the Jemaa el-Fna square, giving you a front-row seat to the street food and storytellers that make student trips to morocco so legendary.
Overnight: Hotel in MarrakechDeep Dive into the Red City
Today is all about getting lost in the best way possible. We skip the generic tourist spots and go deep into the labyrinth with an English-speaking local guide. We’ll visit the Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs, but the real magic happens in the artisan souks. You’ll see the leather workers, the woodcarvers, and the weavers in action. This is one of the most popular tours in Marrakech because it moves past the surface and into the heart of the city’s craft. By the afternoon, you’ll have a new perspective on how this ancient city still thrives today.
Overnight: Hotel in MarrakechAgafay Desert Experience
After a slow morning in the medina, we head out to the Agafay Desert, a rocky landscape just outside the city that feels like another planet. This afternoon is packed with hands-on activities for SAS students. We’ll gear up for an hour of quad biking across the dusty trails, followed by a sunset camel ride. The day ends at a desert camp with a massive traditional dinner around a bonfire. It’s the perfect mix of high-energy adventure and quiet culture that students trips in Morocco are all about. We’ll head back to the city under a blanket of stars, ready for one last adventure tomorrow.
Overnight: Hotel in MarrakechOuzoud Waterfalls & Final Return
On our final day of the 4-day Marrakech experience, we head into the Middle Atlas to see the Ouzoud Waterfalls. These are the highest falls in North Africa and a total contrast to the city buzz. You can hike down to the base of the falls, take a small boat across the pool, and hang out with the wild Barbary macaques that live in the olive trees. It’s a great way to cool off before we start the drive back to the Casablanca Port. We’ll get you back to the ship with time to spare, ensuring your 4-day Marrakech experience ends exactly where it started, but with a whole new set of memories from your SAS trip to Morocco.
