MBT Terms and Conditions
Transparency and trust are the pillars of our relationship. Please read our MBT terms and conditions carefully to understand how we manage your private Morocco journey.
1. Introduction to Our Agreement
Welcome to Morocco Best Trips. When we speak about “we,” “us,” or “MBT,” we are referring to our professional travel agency based in Morocco. When we mention “you,” “the client,” or “the traveler,” we are referring to the person making the booking and all members of the group included in that booking.
These MBT terms and conditions constitute a binding contract between you and our team. By confirming a tour with us and paying your deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the policies outlined on this page. Our goal is to ensure a smooth, safe, and culturally rich experience as we explore the kingdom together.
2. Booking and Payment Structure
To secure your private Moroccan tour, we require a deposit at the time of booking. This deposit allows us to prepay our local partners, secure your riads, and guarantee your private driver’s availability. We operate on a trust-based payment model designed for your convenience:
- The Deposit: Paid online or via bank transfer to confirm the booking.
- The Balance: The remaining cost of the tour is paid via bank transfer or in cash (Euros, USD, or local Dirhams) directly to us upon your arrival in Morocco.
Please note that until the deposit is received, your booking is considered provisional and subject to change based on hotel and transport availability.
3. Cancellation and Deposit Policy
Because we use your deposit to lock in non-refundable accommodations and logistics weeks or months in advance, the deposit is generally non-refundable. Our policy is as follows:
- Cancellations more than 60 days before arrival: We may, at our discretion, offer to hold your deposit as a credit for a future trip within 12 months.
- Cancellations less than 60 days before arrival: The deposit is strictly non-refundable and is used to cover the cancellation fees charged by our riads, camps, and partners.
- Early Departure: If you choose to leave the tour early for any reason, no refunds will be given for unused portions of the trip, as all costs have already been committed to local providers.
We strongly urge all travelers to purchase high-quality travel insurance that includes coverage for trip cancellations and interruptions.
4. Health, Fitness, and Medical Needs
By booking with MBT, you confirm that you and your group are in good physical health to participate in the activities chosen (such as walking tours in the medina or camel trekking). If you have specific dietary requirements, allergies, or medical conditions, you must inform us at the time of booking. While we do our best to accommodate everyone, we cannot be held liable for the inability of a local provider to meet a specific medical or dietary need if we were not informed in advance.
5. Changes to Your Route
We pride ourselves on flexibility. If you wish to modify your route after booking, we will work with you to make it happen. However, if changes result in higher costs (such as upgrading a hotel or adding mileage), the client is responsible for the difference. On our side, we reserve the right to modify the route during the trip if forced by road closures, weather conditions, or safety concerns. Your safety is always the priority.
6. Force Majeure and Liability
MBT acts as an intermediary between you and the local hotels, transport providers, and guides. We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage caused by events beyond our control. This includes natural disasters, strikes, civil unrest, or government-mandated travel restrictions. In the event of such a situation, we will assist you with logistics, but the financial responsibility for any extra costs incurred (like extra hotel nights or flight changes) rests with the traveler.
7. Photography and Content
During our tours, we occasionally capture photos and videos of the stunning landscapes and experiences to share on our website or social media. By participating in the tour, you grant us permission to use this media. If you value your privacy and prefer not to be included in any marketing materials, simply let Mohamed or your driver know at the start of the trip, and we will respect your wishes completely.
8. Travel Documents and Visas
It is the sole responsibility of the traveler to ensure they have a valid passport (valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of departure) and the correct visa to enter Morocco. MBT cannot be held responsible for any travel disruptions caused by incomplete or incorrect documentation.
9. Governing Law
These MBT terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any disputes arising from our services shall be handled within the Moroccan judicial system.
